Join Our Kitchen Team

We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate food educators to join our team. As a food educator, you will play a key role in educating children about healthy eating habits and sustainable practices.

The Blue Flame Kitchen Schools Program provides a fun and engaging learning experience for year 5 students. You will be responsible for delivering an entertaining and educational class in line with set menus and guidelines. This includes setting up and packing down the class, including food preparation, grocery shopping, and following all food health and safety regulations.

As a food educator, you will work closely with our experienced training team to develop and deliver high-quality educational content. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all activities are aligned with our program's objectives and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and educational classes to groups of year 5 students
  • Prepare and cook meals as part of the kitchen program
  • Ensure compliance with all food health and safety regulations
  • Work collaboratively with our training team to develop and deliver educational content
  • Assist with setting up and packing down the class

Requirements:

  • Passion for teaching and educating children about healthy eating habits and sustainable practices
  • Food Safety Supervisor certificate (SITSS00069)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of health and hygiene standards
  • Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
  • Current Western Australia police clearance check or willingness to obtain
