Flexible casual hours across a variety of shiftsSupportive and collaborative team environmentOpportunities for ongoing training and developmentSalary packaging to increase your take-home payMake a genuine difference in residents\' quality of lifeWork with a purpose in a not-for-profit, values-led organisationAbout The RoleAs a Lifestyle Assistant, you'll support the delivery of engaging activities and individual programs that promote social connection, emotional wellbeing, and enjoyment for our residents.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, deliver, and review lifestyle activities that meet individual resident needsFacilitate group and one-on-one programsWelcome and assist new residents with their transitionAdvocate for residents and respond to feedback or concernsMonitor participation and maintain accurate documentationWork collaboratively with clinical and care teamsMaintain safe, respectful, and inclusive spaces for residentsContribute to team meetings, WHS compliance, and quality standardsWhat You'll NeedNational Police Check (or willingness to obtain)Driver's LicenceSenior First Aid CertificateManual Handling trainingUnderstanding of aged care and resident-centred serviceDesirableCertificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or related fieldKnowledge of dementia careFamiliarity with aged care documentation and standardsWHS awarenessAbility to speak Italian is a plusWho We AreBene Aged Care is a trusted, not-for-profit aged care provider supporting older South Australians.
