Join a national-scale industrial business to lead both hands-on engineering upgrades and program management of a large-scale site expansion.
About the role
As the Projects & Maintenance Manager, you'll leadconstruction projects and mechanical maintenance across my clients industrial site, combining hands-on technical leadership with program management to deliver equipment upgrades and a major site expansion.
You'll shape and drive the long-term capital roadmap, embed a proactive maintenance culture, and partner with Operations, Finance, Legal and external contractors to ensure safety, reliability and on-time project delivery.
What you'll own
Deliver equipment upgrades and site audits, then embed robust preventive-maintenance practices
Oversee a multi-million-dollar expansion from design and tender through contractor selection and board submission
Build and drive a long-term CAPEX roadmap in collaboration with Operations, Finance and Legal
Coach and develop a maintenance coordinator, shifting the team from reactive fixes to planned uptime
What you bring
Proven background in mechanical, electrical or process engineering on industrial sites
Track record managing capital projects of significant scale, from scoping through hand-over
Proactive, hands-on mindset — you spot issues early and drive solutions on the plant floor
Strong stakeholder influencer: able to align site teams, external contractors and senior leaders
