**ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY**

The Duty Manager - Lifeguard responsible for leading and managing the lifeguard team; exemplifying high standards of safety and service delivery to patrons at the Aquatics Centre.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about safety who exhibits excellent people management skills. This role will be rostered 35 hours per week between Wednesday to Sunday 7 hours per day within the pool operating hours of 4:30am - 9:30pm.

You will need to have a high work ethic, commitment to professional presentation and the ability to maintain an appropriate level of fitness throughout employment.

**In this role you will**:

- Understand and deliver the Aquatic Supervision Plan during your role of lifeguard management and operational duties;
- Ensure the safety of all the patrons of the Aquatic center, overseeing the incident management process;
- Management, rostering, development, training and growth of the lifeguard team;
- Championing the delivery of exceptional customer service to patrons of the Aquatic Center.

**To be successful in the role you will have**:

- Pool Lifeguard
- First Aid and CPR certificates
- Blue Card
- Advanced Resuscitation (desirable)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the aquatics industry & experience leading a team of lifeguards
