Their Digital, Technology and Information group is currently seeking an experienced Digital Architect.
As the Digital Architect you will be responsible for aligning technology strategy with business goals by overseeing the enterprise architecture of a programs, projects and products.
This role creates wholistic concepts for digital systems and ensures architectures across programs are cohesive, scalable and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
The Digital Architect creates wholistic concepts for digital systems and leads enterprise architecture activities and deliverables during program and project planning phases, continually adjusting and refining throughout delivery.Key responsibilitiesDevelop, publish and maintain digital architecture blueprints across business, cloud, data, integration, application and technology domains for programsTranslate business outcomes into actional architecturesIdentify outcome dependencies within and across projects and programsLead and develop enterprise architecture deliverables for programsProvide architecture insights and input throughout each phase of the programsLead and develop Stage 0 enterprise architecture deliverables for projects.Ensure architectural alignment across all initiatives within the portfolio.Ensure architectural standards, principles, and best practices across the program.Participate in architecture reviews and provide guidance on solution architectures.Evaluate and prioritise architectural work across multiple programs and projects.Identify and assess architectural risks and technical debt.Act as a liaison between enterprise architects, solution architects and project managers.Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Main RequirementsIndustry recognised qualifications and accreditations e.g. TOGAF or Zachman qualifications.Prior experience within the utilities sector is highly desirable.Experience in digital transformation programs or large-scale enterprise projectsDemonstrable deep understanding of enterprise architecture and enterprise technology strategy with an ability to undertake and perform complex analysis and process improvement tasks over multiple business domains and systems.Comprehensive knowledge of frameworks and methodologies which support the ongoing management and development of enterprise architecture and supporting ICT Strategies.Demonstrable high-level interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence negotiate and consult with senior management and a range of stakeholders on strategic and operational information technology and business issues.High-level of knowledge across business, cloud, data, integration, application and technology domainsDemonstrable experience of coaching and mentoring staff to improve team outcomes and provide support to professional development desirableKnowledge of information technologies, standards and services, and a demonstrated commitment to ongoing development of knowledge and skills and their application to the business.Strategic thinking and business acumen with a customer-centric mindsetLeadership and influence without authorityAbility to operate at all levels from strategic to technicalWhy apply with Hudson Recruitment?
