Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect Leader to join our Solution Architect team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital delivery and enterprise architecture at Queensland Rail.

As a key member of our team, you will lead the end-to-end architecture of business-critical ICT solutions, from ideation to implementation. You will provide architectural leadership, assess new digital initiatives, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and assurance of innovative, scalable, and secure digital solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to evaluate new digital requests and determine fit-for-purpose solutions
- Provide expert advice on system integration, technical standards, and emerging technologies
- Maintain and evolve our technical architecture with ICT Architects
- Stay current with emerging technologies, particularly in AI and data-driven innovation

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Extensive experience in solution architecture within large, complex environments (government or corporate)
- Exposure to AI-based solutions in regulated environments is highly desirable
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills to support requirement elicitation and understanding
- Proven ability to deliver enterprise solutions using modern architecture practices and integration methodologies
- Excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder engagement skills
- A passion for continuous learning and staying up to date with technology trends
