Job Title

A system architect is pivotal in driving our digital strategy, focusing on managing complexity and delivering speed to capability.

This involves capturing and modelling concepts, requirements, and designs for major defence programs such as C4ISREW, MILSATCOM, Space, and other critical capabilities.

  • Developing and sustaining MBSE architectures using tools like CATIA Cameo, Enterprise Architect, or ANSYS.
  • Undertaking mission engineering through mission threads and scenarios.
  • Applying modelling and simulation across the lifecycle to ensure traceability from requirements through to verification.
About This Role

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with domain specialists and stakeholders to mature facilities and capability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and integrate Mission Engineering Models and Simulations using Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) digital modelling and simulation tools in execution of the company strategy.
  • Define End-to-End Architecture solutions aligned to technology standards and roadmaps and strategies in response to business requirements.
  • Analyse and evaluate externally sourced models and integrate them into the System or Enterprise framework.
  • Enhance company Knowledge Base for execution through delivery of model or environment artefacts.
Requirements
  • BSc/BA in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and commensurate certifications with relevant professional body.
  • Professional Engineer with 8y+ of experience in digital systems including significant experience of below-the-line digital design and integration.
  • Proven experience in development of systems architecture within defence industry, aerospace, or other regulated environments.
