Data Systems Specialist
, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge software systems that drive data-driven decision making.
This position involves collaborating with global teams to develop custom software solutions for large-scale data processing and analytics. Key Responsibilities:
Software Development:
Design and build bespoke software components for data pipelines using Python or other programming languages.
Data Pipeline Engineering:
Architect and maintain reliable, efficient data pipelines utilizing leading-edge technologies.
System Optimization:
Monitor system performance to ensure low latency, high throughput, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaboration:
Work closely with global teams to align on tools, strategies, and best practices for data engineering.
Reliability and Monitoring:
Implement monitoring tools to guarantee reliability and seamless operation of real-time data streams.
Documentation and Standards:
Create clear documentation for software architectures, processes, and best practices.
Tech Leadership:
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers while contributing to the growth of the data engineering function.
About You
3+ years of experience in software or data engineering roles.
Strong proficiency in Python; familiarity with system-level programming languages is advantageous.
Experience designing custom software solutions for distributed systems or large-scale data processing pipelines.
Familiarity with modern data engineering concepts such as distributed computing frameworks or real-time streaming technologies.
Knowledge of cloud-based architectures and relational databases.
A proven ability to lead projects independently while delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts across diverse teams.
