Software Engineering Expert for Defense Innovation

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting next-generation capabilities through the entire product life-cycle.

About the Role

You will leverage unsupervised autonomy for long-endurance, multi-mission capability delivery. Your expertise in software development, particularly in algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scaling, testing, and software design, will be invaluable to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate user needs and balance them with external constraints in complex environments
  • Implement software that rapidly delivers capability beyond current platforms, with a clear path for architecture and capability evolution
  • Contribute to the development of reusable software components across multiple product lines
  • Develop software for robotic platforms using various technologies
  • Work collaboratively to develop, enhance, and test vehicle and mission software
  • Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or Engineering
  • Professional experience as a Software Engineer with one or more domains and/or technologies of competence
  • Strong systems and application programming skills, including algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scaling, testing, and software design
  • Experience troubleshooting remotely deployed software systems
  • Ability to work holistically on software-enabled capabilities up and down the software stack and through lifecycle
