Introduction:The Goulburn Valley Libraries Board is seeking expressions of interest for the position of Interim Chief Executive Officer for a three-month term , with the possibility of extension.This role will provide stability and leadership while recruitment for a permanent appointment is undertaken, ensuring the smooth operation of the organisation and continued delivery of high-quality services to our community.Description:Key responsibilities include: Providing strategic and operational leadership.
Supporting staff and maintaining organisational stability.
Reporting to and working closely with the Board.
Progressing existing strategic priorities.
Ideal applicants will have:Demonstrated senior leadership and management experience.
Strong governance knowledge and stakeholder engagement skills.
The ability to lead teams through change with confidence and transparency.
Operational experience relating to public libraries or related services would be an advantage.
