Your new company

Join a care focused and collaborative Federal Government Department located in Woden, Canberra. Your role will be a high-level support for the EL1 to deliver key policy activities within the team objectives.

Your new role

You will have a strong interest in communications and assisting with clients of diverse linguistic backgrounds. Your will have experience in writing open request for tenders and a high-level of stakeholder engagement. You are a detail and results oriented individual who can thrive under pressure to meet competing deadlines.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Establishing and managing projects to deliver short and medium-term outcomes establishing procurements and/or grants
- Managing payments and monitoring quality of contract deliverables, including providing feedback so that products are fit for purpose and well targeted to the desired audience
- Coordinating engagement and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Responding to external correspondence

What you'll need to succeed
- Experience or interest in establishing programs and procurement, contract management and/or grants experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex issues simply.
- A good team player with the ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll get in return

This is a fixed term contract role for an initial period of 12 months with the possibility of extension. Flexible working arrangements available.
