What will your typical day look like?
- Carries out all duties in a safe and timely manner as directed by the section foreman and the supervisor or production manager.
- Assess, Repair, Rebuild, Strip, Clean, Flush, Test parts and components for radiators.
- Follow all safe working practices, utilising the correct PPE in accordance with training, Job Procedures and Safety Data sheets.
- Follow safe high-risk practices using forklifts and cranes if licensed and qualified to do so (lifting plans to be used and TAKE 2/5 to be done prior).
- Follow all Shop work instructions, Standard procedures and work instructions as directed. Must be able to recognise quality deviations & faults once trained. Must act on non-conformance instructions and request assistance if further clarification is required

What do we want to know about you?
- Sound mechanical knowledge/aptitude.
- Knowledge of the imperial measurement system.
- Experience working on heavy duty equipment, automotive equipment and radiators.
- Use and Knowledge of handheld power & air tools.
- Basic computer and software knowledge.
- Understanding Safe Work Practices/Shop Work Instructions/JHA's/Risk Assessments.
- Commitment to safety in the workplace.
- High attention to detail.
- Able to work unsupervised.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Sense of priority and urgency.
- Able to work as part of a multicultural team.
- Able to stand continuously for periods of up to 5 hours.
- Able to pass random drug & alcohol testing, and fitness for work testing.
