Our client plays an integral role in education both in the ACT and NSW operating 56 Schools and 8 Early Learning Centres.

As a Finance Partner your role will be focused on being a strong support and partner to senior stakeholders and CEO executives within the organisation. Working together with the Finance team, you will provide crucial financial analysis and reporting services, including meaningful financial insights and advice.

In your role as the CEO Finance business partner, you will be accountable for:

- Monthly results preparation, analysis and management reporting, including analysis of P&L results during and following period end close, and the preparation of monthly management packs
- Perform financial budgeting, forecasting, and planning to better enable the organisation to achieve its strategic goals.
- Perform financial analysis including scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, driver-based analysis, and other forms of financial modelling.
- Provide meaningful financial insights to clients through regular and ad hoc management reporting.
- Support continuous improvement through BAU activities and projects.

Skills and Qualifications
- Experience within Financial Planning & Analysis functions.
- Prior experience engaging with senior leadership and providing timely decision support.
- Proven ability to access, analyse and interpret complex data enabling robust evaluation, annual planning processes and support continuous improvement of services
- A strong understanding of financial systems and reporting tools will mean that you are well placed to recommend improvements and optimisation.
- Proven effective consultation, facilitation and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop and manage & influence stakeholders and build partnerships to support effective organisation change.
- Able to communicate complex financial information into understandable insights and advice.
- Financial modelling and business case development skills.
- Time management and high attention to detail.
- The successful applicant will hold tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Business and hold current membership of a relevant professional accounting body such as CA/CPA.
- Minimum of 5 years experience across similar Finance roles.
