Subject Matter Expert: Inclusion
The Armidale Catholic Schools Office is seeking a Subject Matter Expert to assist leaders, teachers, and education assistants in schools to effectively support students with disability and diverse learning needs.
This role plays a vital part in promoting the Diocese of Armidale Core Catholic Principles and Values in all professional accountabilities.
Consult with teachers and provide advice about relevant teaching and learning strategies.
Advise on individual and group intervention and assist teachers with adjustments.
Collaborate with learning support personnel in response to student needs.
Provide professional development for teachers and paraprofessionals.
The ideal candidate will have recognised formal qualifications in the field of education, experience working in schools or with multidisciplinary teams, and highly developed skills in the use of technology and assistive technology options.
This position requires a commitment to the Catholic ethos, a willingness to foster it, and a strong team player who can maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times.
