We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team at our indoor play centre, FUNTASTIC KIDS. If you have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a talent for managing multiple aspects of a business, and a desire to work in a fun and fast-paced environment, then this position is perfect for you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and host birthday parties and events, ensuring that all guests have a fantastic time
- Interact with children and their families, ensuring a positive and engaging experience
- Assist with set-up, clean-up, and general operations of the play centre and cafe
- Handle food and beverage orders and provide excellent customer service
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient operation of the cafe
- Manage and supervise staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure overall customer satisfaction by providing a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all guests
- Promote and upsell party packages and additional services
- Assist with marketing and promotional efforts to drive business and increase revenue
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for both staff and guests
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the play centre

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the hospitality or kids-related industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Knowledge of basic business and financial principles
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Sunday and Monday availability is a must
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 38 per week
