**About the Role...**

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Supply Chain Manager will focus on demand planning, procurement and optimisation of the Enterprise Resource Planning process, while leading a team to add value to the business, strengthen supplier relationships and build stronger internal processes.

The main duties of this role includes:

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with both domestic and offshore suppliers.
- Negotiating contracts, pricing and timelines, and maintaining purchase records and documentation, to ensure production requirements are met.
- Oversee the manufacturing planning process, including managing and maintaining the production schedule.
- Convert the forecasting information into an effective supply plan for key products and raw materials to meet production demands.
- Conduct supplier reviews, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership to drive purchasing strategy improvements.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies, prepare cost estimates, and manage budgets.
- Oversee procurement and replenishment activities to ensure inventory levels remain below established guidelines.
- Lead stocktake and cycle count processes to ensure the accuracy of the perpetual inventory system, working closely with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.

**About You...**

You will be a proactive, motivated and highly-organised leader, with demonstrated experience in supply chain management, production planning and procurement. You will be committed to continuous improvement and driven to exceed set targets.

To be successful, the following experience, abilities and skills will be highly advantageous:

- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position in a relatable industry (prior experience in the food industry is desirable).
- Demonstrated success in resource planning, contract negotiations, and relationship and people management.
- Knowledge of HACCP Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices Polices and Procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to influence outcomes with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless delivery of products, services and information.
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field is preferred but not essential.
