**ABOUT THE COMPANY.**

Working for Council based in South-Western Sydney, you will be a part of the Rates Team on an initial 3-month contract. Your team is accountable for the accuracy of data, delivery of information and providing quality customer service.

**ABOUT THE POSITION.**

As a Rating Officer, you will be reporting to the Team Leader Rates. You will responsible for maintaining an accurate rates database in accordance with the Local Government Act/Regulations and Council polices, whilst providing a high level of customer service to ratepayers and other units of Council.

**DUTIES.**
- Daily maintenance of the rates database
- Delivery of Rates Management services to Council and the community
- Processing rates related customers, property and account maintenance transactions
- Continuous contribution to the improvement of Rates Management procedures

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.**
- Experience with Electronic Document Management Systems
- Demonstrated experience in Council Rate Management
- Debt Recovery/Management experience
