**A bit about the role**
As the Projects and Operations Support officer you will work dynamically across the technology services department at council. Providing support to the chief information officer you will complete administrative based tasks and coordinate projects alongside leaders throughout the department.

You will possess a passion for IT with strong communication and clerical skills, contributing to the effective and efficient management and operations of the technology services department.

**What you'll deliver**
- Provide high quality support to the Chief Information Officer and act with discretion and confidentiality
- Prepare meetings agendas, reports, and presentations to support the technology services department
- Monitor corporate reporting deadlines and monitor completion of action plan deliverables
- Support the collaboration of teams within the department and council more broadly
- Provide preliminary monitoring of the department budget and purchasing support

**What you'll bring**
- Experience working in an executive/personal assistant role with high levels of attention to detail
- Sound understanding of technology services business functions
- Well-developed communication and analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving capacity, identifying trends and issues as they arise
- A positive, curious and flexible mind
