**Your opportunity**:
**As the Principal Project Officer, you will**:

- Lead the implementation of system-wide cultural change programs, including executing deliverables for an established workforce strategy, designed to build an organisational culture of inclusion, for all employees.
- Influence, educate and collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders to successfully implement a workforce strategy and a range of initiatives to increase the opportunities, inclusion and support for existing and potential employees working across the department.

**Your role**:
**Responsibilities include**:

- Lead the implementation of a workforce strategy which seeks to address system, process and cultural barriers to workforce inclusion.
- Develop a co-design process to understand the barriers to employment and career pathways informed by employee insights from the Working for Queensland and School Opinion Survey, and focus groups.
- Develop and implement communication material to support implementation of the workforce strategy and framework to facilitate cultural change.
- Lead the reporting and implementation of recommendations from mandatory Whole of Government specific purpose plans.
- Report on progress to the Public Service Commission and respond to national strategies on Leadership Board workforce targets.
- Provide strategic and operational advice on the department's workforce strategy initiatives to ensure continuous improvement and holistic innovation in the delivery of high quality services.
