Mt Buller Race & Events Department (RED) is seeking enthusiastic and committed team members to join our dynamic team to deliver a variety of high quality on snow events. Events include; Giant Slalom; Slalom; Boarder X; Skier X; Moguls; Snowboard and Skiing Rail & Slopestyle; and Cross Country competitions up to an International level. Our premier event - the Victorian Interschool's competition has over 6000 individual entries across a suite of disciplines. The RED conducts over 190 events each winter season. Race coaching experience is advantageous.
**Your responsibilities will include**:

Set up, prepare, plan and pack-down of events at a variety of locations around our resort
- Maintain all equipment as directed by the RED supervisor
- All logístical work to ensure each event location has the necessary equipment to conduct safe & effective events
- Set appropriate race courses, fencing and sponsorship materials for events
- Ensure that gate training courses are safe for competitors
- Transport equipment complying with Occupational Health & Safety Requirements
- Announce at events when directed
- Time events (training will be provided)

**We're looking for people with**:

- High energy levels and initiative to work in a small and dynamic team
- Applicants need to have intermediate to advanced skiing skills to fulfil tasks and will work in all weather environments
- Previous event management skills (particularly on snow) are advantageous
- Excellent communication and guest service skills (fluent English)
- A positive, flexible attitude and the ability to be a team player
- Ability to maintain a pleasant, professional manner under pressure and during extremely busy times
- Your own ski/snowboard equipment including helmet
- Ski Instructor or coaching qualifications highly advantageous
- Previous event timing experience with ALGE timing systems advantageous.
