We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians and people of culturally diverse backgrounds to apply.Watch Our Story: believe that our work can add meaning and value to the world, inspire positive change, and illuminate new perspectives through collaboration.The roleOur architecture practice is seeking a passionate Pursuits Specialist to support and drive high-quality bids and submissions, supporting HDR's commitment to design excellence and innovation.You will lead the full lifecycle of pursuit activities, from identifying opportunities to crafting compelling submissions that win new work and support our practice's growth.This role involves working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that encourages innovation and celebrates delivery excellence.As Pursuits Specialist, you will:Manage end-to-end EOI, RFP, and tender submissions.Understand new tender documentation and requirements.Coordinate with local and global teams to craft visually engaging submissions using InDesign.Organize strategy meetings, follow-ups, and input collection to meet deadlines.Write, edit, and tailor content to translate complex technical information into clear, persuasive narratives.Maintain CRM databases and marketing collateral to support pursuits.Ensure quality control over proposal appearance and content.Populate response schedules, spreadsheets, and project outlines with key data.Develop response sections from bullet points and provided information.Participate in go/no-go decision processes.Keep marketing and pursuit materials current, including content libraries, project sheets, and CVs.Preferred QualificationsRelevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or related technical field).3+ years' experience in bids or pursuits, preferably within the AEC industry.Experience working within architecture is highly advantageous.Mastery of Adobe InDesign CC and MS Office suite.Strong project coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.Required QualificationsAt least 5 years of relevant industry experience.A proactive, self-starting attitude with a track record of completing projects independently.Experience in sales and developing effective win strategies.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
