Established in 1871, the Art Gallery of New South Wales is located in Sydney's The Domain adjacent to the Royal Botanic Garden and near the Central Business District, the Gallery acknowledges the original custodians of this land - the Gadigal people of the Eora nation.

The Gallery attracts around 1 million visitors annually and runs Australia's largest education program with over 90,000 student and teacher visits per year.

With our expanded campus recent opening the Gallery has a new state-of-the-art building located next to our existing and much-loved building. Providing us with close to double the exhibition space, the expanded Gallery enables us to share more art with more people and provide more family, learning and educational programming for all our audiences.

**About the role**

The Records Manager will coordinate, manage and execute the records processes for the Art Gallery of NSW. The role will provide support to all Art Gallery teams in managing their records and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. The role will work with technology systems to monitor, store and optimise records and their associated suppliers.

**What technical / soft skills you require**
- Relevant qualifications and experience in records management.
- Experience administering an EDRMS such as SharePoint/AvePoint and/or Content Manager.
- Comprehensive knowledge of legislation and policies relevant to information management, including the State Records Act, GIPA Act, PPIP Act, and NSW Government Cyber Security Policy.
- Demonstrated ability to review, analyse and implement records & information management program in accordance with regulatory and industry standards to achieving best practice.
- Strong understanding of information governance, including data lifecycle management and information security.
- High level of personal integrity and confidentially due to the access of highly sensitive information.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with IT peers on joint projects.

- What experience have you had in reviewing and /or implementing a records and information management program? (300 words max)
