Build your trades career brick by brick with an apprenticeship through Maxima and Built Right Masonry Constructions (BRMC)

BRMC are a family business specialising in expertly crafted retaining walls, heritage stone restoration, high-end stone masonry and creative landscape construction. They use a network of carefully selected trades and suppliers to provide a complete service from concept right through to execution.

Training the next generation of trades is important. With this fulltime, 4-year apprenticeship, receive all the training and study paid for, hands-on industry experience and continuous mentoring, all towards you achieving a nationally recognised **Certificate III in Bricklaying/Blocklaying.**

No two days will be the same in this role Think beyond the mastering of laying bricks and blocks, and into the endless possibilities of stone masonry, concreting and rendering. Work alongside the owner and experienced team on a variety of construction projects to build your skills and knowledge.

**Duties Include**:

- Lay, move, and stack bricks/blocks
- Mix mortar
- Site preparation
- Level and finish concrete
- Undertake measurements and calculations
- Other labouring duties as required

**About You**:

- Have a genuine interest in a bricklaying career
- Strong work ethic; punctual and reliable
- Hands-on with a willingness to learn
- Ability to follow directions and work safely
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Committed with a can-do attitude

**Role Requirements**:

- Previous on-site labouring experience (desirable)
- Current provisional or full driver's licence with own vehicle
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment
- Possess good physical fitness to perform manual tasks
