Property & Commercial Manager- Lead the Bank's portfolio services for leased properties- Oversight of major commercial services- Work with a dynamic, outcomes focused team

This Sydney CBD based role is responsible for the provision of property portfolio services for the Bank's diverse range of leased properties (where the Bank has a mix of landlord and tenant status); and commercial oversight of several major vendor contracts that underpin the delivery of third party services to the Bank's properties. This role will also have oversight of the operations of the Bank's conference centre and will be responsible for a small team.

Your background- Significant experience in commercial leasing and property management.- Practical experience in managing a portfolio of leased properties as both a landlord and tenant.- Team management experience, leading and motivating teams in a corporate and/or public sector environment.- Ability to foresee and add value to commercial issues and interdependencies, identify and mitigate risks, and demonstrate awareness of the impact on operations- Extensive experience building trust and confidence by proactively engaging internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels- Demonstrated experience in managing external vendors to ensure value for money and delivery to contract obligations and service level expectations.- Strong written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to overcome challenges and influence positive behaviour.- Relevant tertiary qualifications in one or more disciplines including property management, business, finance and commercial management.

This role will be part of the Workplace Department, a dynamic team that is responsible for the sustainable management of the Bank's physical assets and the provision of services that together ensure operational availability, security, safety and effectiveness of the workplace. There will be some team management responsibilities.
