About the role
Permanent full-time opportunity to provide expert clinical knowledge and care for consumers/patients with various conditions.
Support the general function of the unit through role modelling and application of principles of evidence-based, consumer/patient-focused care, education, leadership, and portfolio management.
This role will also provide support and guidance to Registered Nurses and other non-registered nursing staff in complex situations.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be able to fulfill the following key responsibilities in line with Metro North Health's values:
Perform duties according to Schedule 2, Nurses, and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) (2015) - GLS Nurse Grade 6 Band 1, and adhere to Queensland Health and Metro North Health's commitments and values to achieve organizational goals and practice domains.
Practice ethically and professionally, complying with relevant standards and legislation, maintaining current knowledge within the scope of practice.
Apply advanced clinical nursing skills, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Respond effectively to sudden changes in patient health status, providing support and direction using advanced assessment and intervention skills.
