BlueCare is transforming to strengthen quality nursing care in the community setting. You will be part of our clinical nursing team within our neighbourhood structure, focusing on providing nursing care and leadership, support and guidance to other care staff to promote quality of life and help individuals maintain independence at home.

Your part in our Clinical Team

As our Clinical Nurse, you will be allocated a client portfolio and have the opportunity to lead and inspire the frontline clinical team through guidance and mentorship. You will apply effective decision making and clinical experience to provide exceptional care and address clinical nursing issues and concerns.

You'll review client care and care plans with a focus on promoting independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Development, implementation, monitoring and review of care plans
  • Comprehensive and accurate assessment of residents
  • Assisting with the orientation of new staff and ongoing professional development
  • Support in ensuring the service meets all accreditation standards
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor of Nursing, or equivalent qualification
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Extensive general nursing experience and demonstrated clinical skills
  • Ability to liaise with the care team and provide coordinated care
  • Confidence to manage conflict, pressures and competing priorities
  • Experience in a multidisciplinary team with the ability to provide leadership, support and mentorship
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in community funding is highly desirable
