Our newly established **Local Area Engagement**team is on a mission to ensure that as many people as possible know, trust, and choose our local funeral directors every time. If you'd like to play a pivotal role in driving our growth and community engagement through building strong business partnerships in the community then we would like to hear from you.

**What a typical day looks like**
- Leading and monitoring mentor a team of Local Area Engagement Consultants, cultivating a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, engagement, and excellence in brand representation.
- Implementing local area marketing strategies and driving community engagement through targeted campaigns and outreach initiatives.
- Leading sponsorship opportunities to promote pre-paid funeral services and at-need referrals.
- Establishing and nurturing strong networks with key stakeholders, including industry partners, community groups, and influencers.
- Supporting the activation of B2B and corporate partnership opportunities, contributing to business growth and market share.
- Regularly assessing and reporting on business performance, market trends, and competitor activities within your region.

- Experience in sales and business development.
- A strong track record in developing and sustaining local business relationships.
- Proven success in coaching and developing high-performing teams.
- Experience in managing financial targets and growing market share.
- Ability to manage multi-brand, multi-location teams across various functions (travel is required).
- Exceptional networking and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences.
- Commercial acumen, balanced with empathy and understanding.
- **Your ability to travel regularly, with overnight stays of between one to three evenings, is also essential.
