**The Community Food Project Coordinator (full-time fixed term 12 months) **will manage the existing café and lead a new catering social enterprise, which focus on providing jobs to people in public housing.
**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Establish key partnerships in the delivery of community food projects and programs.
- Engage with community to ensure co-design.
- Community food programs meet identified needs.
- Increase profit for café and catering social enterprise to address sustainability.
- Seeking opportunity to engage volunteers from the community where suitable and required to support food service programs.
- Improve employment opportunities for the community through community food projects - café and Cultural Catering social enterprise.
- Support sustainable waste management.
- Oversee processing of invoices, ordering, rostering, food service operations and food safety.

**KEY SELECTION CRITERIA**
**Essential qualifications, attributes and skills include, but are not limited to**:

- Qualified Chef or similar qualification/experience
- Experience in food service and catering
- Must have worked with diverse communities
- Current drivers' licence

**DESIRED**:

- Food safety supervisor certification
- Community Development qualification or similar
- Cert III in Business Administration
- Hospitality management
- Experience in Project Management and/or Social Enterprise

Please note it is a requirement for all employees of North Richmond Community Health to demonstrate evidence of mandatory immunisations/vaccinations prior to commencement of employment, based on the Immunisation Category their position falls under.
