About the role
CMV Truck & Bus is currently seeking a friendly and reliable Café Attendant to join our team on a casual basis in our in-house café at our state-of-the-art facility in Derrimut. This is a great opportunity to work in a modern, welcoming environment as part of a supportive and professional team.
What you will be doing
- preparing and serving food and drinks for consumption
- taking customers' food orders
- operating cash registers, accepting payments and preparing sales invoices
- washing dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils
- cleaning cafe equipment as required
- help maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas
- participating in stocktakes and assisting in putting away new stock

We are looking for someone who has
- Experience working in a similar role (preferred)
- POS system experience (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- High level of personal presentation and grooming
- Ability to work under pressure
- Possess high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Understanding of food safety requirements
- Availability to pick up casual shifts without a lot of notice
