This role is responsible for providing effective and efficient operational management and technical support to the enterprise, maintaining database services, reporting services and systems operation documentation in accordance with the organisations operational processes and guidelines.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Performing day-to-day database support, administration and maintenance functions, database system monitoring and analysis, performance tuning and troubleshooting to maintain system performance and availability and implementing and maintaining alerts.
- Providing system-level maintenance across the enterprise database environment, including system upgrades and security patching.
- Professionally and efficiently responding to ICT incidents and service requests via the ICT service management tool.
- Managing the database technology and associated schemas to allow secure, efficient and effective access to the structured data.
- Ensuring both the on-premise systems and cloud solutions support contemporary teaching and learning best practices.

**About You**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- 3+ Years working with SQL Server 2005 to 2016
- 3+ Years working with Azure SQL
- 3+ Years working with SSIS
- Proven working experience with database performance optimisation, database protection, and service recovery.
