**About the Role**:
The Teaching Focused Academic (TFA) is a teaching-intensive role within the business programs at the Victoria University Business School (VUBS). You will be expected to make a significant and sustained contribution to teaching, unit coordination and curriculum development within VUBS and across our international partner programs in China, Sri Lanka and Vietnam which may require periodic overseas travel for teaching delivery.

An example of duties you may perform will include:

- Undertaking teaching and associated duties within Australia and overseas.
- Designing industry-relevant, innovative curricula and delivering high-quality and engaging classes
- Providing support to the University's TNE Partnership office and relevant international partners

**Full time continuing position at the classification of the role will be Teaching Focused Academic Level B working 36.75 hours per week, The salary range is $109,392 per annum to $129,902 per annum plus 17% superannuation.**

**About You**:

- Have a strong academic background, holding a PhD ideally in one of the fields -, Economics/Applied Economics, International Trade, International Business,, or a closely related area.
- Have demonstrated teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels (including capstone units) in one or more of the following teaching areas: economics, international trade, and international business.
- Have an emerging research track record supported by relevant projects and publications.
- In addition, bring high-level communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, a commitment to fostering a collegial and supportive work environment, and the ability to interact with students and colleagues with cross cultural sensitivity
