We are a private institution focused on Art Therapy, Early Childhood Education, Counselling, and Psychotherapy. Our purpose is to empower individuals towards life-altering futures through meaningful learning experiences.

With multiple campuses across Australia and Distance Education options, we currently serve around 600 domestic and international students across our 3 Bachelor programs.

About the Role

This position reports directly to the Head of School and is responsible for delivering higher education courses in their respective discipline, including curriculum development, teaching, and assessment.

This role involves working closely with the academic team to support student engagement and facilitate a dynamic learning experience.

About You

We seek a dedicated individual who is passionate about teaching and delivering an enriching learning experience. As a successful candidate, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate face-to-face and online learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic courses within your discipline area, using on-campus and digital methodologies.
  • Foster student engagement, address student concerns, and communicate with the Head of Faculty.
  • Mark student assessments within specified timeframes and adhere to required standards.
  • Participate in moderation and benchmarking activities as needed.
  • Attend faculty meetings and student consultations as required.
  • Engage in scholarly practice as necessary.

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • A PhD or Master's degree in a relevant field of study (Early Childhood Education).
  • A minimum of 2 years and preferably 5 years or more of practical experience in a related field.
  • Teaching or tutoring experience is desirable.
  • Knowledge of higher education requirements and industry standards.
  • Staying current with contemporary developments in your specific discipline or field, maintaining active engagement in professional development, scholarship, research, or knowledge of relevant teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • A passion for education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to undergo a National Crime check, if required.
