**Position: Asset Manager**

**Location: South Australia Regional Council**

**Reporting to: Director of Infrastructure & Operations**

Are you an experienced and dedicated Asset Manager with a passion for optimising infrastructure performance and ensuring efficient operations? If so, we invite you to join our esteemed team as an Asset Manager reporting directly to the Director of Infrastructure & Operations at the South Australia Regional Council.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive asset management strategies and plans in alignment with organisational objectives.
- Oversee the life cycle of assets, ensuring optimal performance, maintenance, and replacement strategies to extend asset life.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess, analyse, and prioritise asset needs and requirements.
- Utilise data and analytics to make informed decisions regarding asset investments, improvements, and cost-efficiency measures.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and adherence to industry standards.
- Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement within the asset management team.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Asset Management, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in asset management, preferably within a governmental or public infrastructure context.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement asset management strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of asset management principles, practices, and relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
