**OUR CLIENT**
Our client is a boutique growing professional services firm with clients based across South-East Queensland and interstate. They employ highly experienced professionals who are committed to delivering great service.

**THE ROLE**
Due to business growth they need an experienced Business/Office Manager to take ownership of a wide range of business functions, including finance, BD/marketing/sales support, office management, people and culture, EA to MD, and help the team deliver excellent client service - with the support of an Office Assistant.

Our client is looking for a professional who will come in and take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the non-client facing aspects of this business. You'll enjoy being busy, juggling competing priorities and delivering to (sometimes tight) deadlines. Overall areas of responsibility include:

- Business development - marketing plan, proposals, tenders, events, edms, social media posts, sales and marketing analysis and reporting.
- Finance, accounts and monitor team productivity - financial analysis/reports, invoicing and payroll in Xero, Xero Practice Manager/WorkflowMax job setup and reporting, accounts payable and receivable.
- People and culture - P&C Plan, organise team events and meetings, rewards and awards programs, professional development, onboarding.
- Client service delivery support.
- Office management, process and systems - facilities, supplies, insurances, maintenance, IT, SharePoint/Office 365.
- EA to MD.
- Supervise Office Assistant.

You will be responsible for the development and improvement of business management systems through the design and implementation of strategies around team culture, marketing, finance, as well as systems and processes with the support and direction of the Leadership Team.

**ABOUT YOU**
As the Business Manager and being part of the Leadership Team you'll need to be results-orientated, organised, and always looking for new and better ways to improve efficiency, client service and team culture.

This role requires the ability to see the big picture and then focus at the task level to get work done (and deliver on business goals).
- Enjoy interacting with and helping co-workers and clients, as well as always looking for a more efficient/value-adding way of working.
- Previous experience as an office/business/practice manager preferably in professional services.
- Advanced Office 365 skills.
- System experience desirable but not essential - SharePoint, Xero, WorkflowMax/Xero Practice Manager, and a CRM.
- A business qualification is well regarded.
