About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
AO4
Case Assessment Officer
to join a high-performing team in Robina. This position plays a vital role in assessing and determining matters related to disputes, claims, licensing, and compliance in line with legislation, policy, and procedure.
This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong analytical ability, sound judgement, and the confidence to make fair and evidence-based decisions that can withstand scrutiny.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and determine matters relating to disputes, licensing applications, compliance, and claims in accordance with relevant legislation and policy.
Deliver outcomes that are fair, balanced, and considerate of all parties involved.
Produce clear, evidence-based decisions and documentation that meet professional standards and withstand review.
Manage caseloads effectively to achieve performance targets.
Provide professional advice and guidance to customers and stakeholders.
Represent the organisation in hearings, promotional, and educational activities as required.
Support the regional service centre by providing face-to-face customer service and team assistance.
About You
We're looking for candidates who demonstrate:
Experience managing caseloads within a regulatory, compliance, or decision-making environment.
Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and provide clear, evidence-based advice.
Previous government experience is preferred but not required
Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess complex matters.
A commitment to fairness, professionalism, and high-quality customer service.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain decisions and processes.
Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
A collaborative approach with the confidence to work independently when required.
Additional Information
This is a full-time office-based role located in Robina.
The role offers an initial 3-month contract with the potential for extension.
Appointment is subject to a clear criminal history check.
