Our Head Office is based on the Central Coast, New South Wales with additional depots located in Melbourne, Brisbane, Townsville, Adelaide, Perth and Hobart. We have been operating for 30 years and employee over 220 people

**Description**:
This newly created role will collaborate with business units to create, source, coordinate and deliver training activities for the organisation. You will partner with technical experts and operations to ensure that training packages are succinct yet effective in meeting compliance and regulatory requirements as well as meeting the job skills and personal development needs of the SPA workforce.

Reporting to the General Manager and based from our Somersby Depot, your leadership, and influencing skills will be valued as you manage a small team of Internal Trainers, source external training resources and you engage with and deliver valued training outcomes on behalf of your internal stakeholders.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**:
Oversee training department including management of the focus areas and movement of internal trainers including SPA Verification of Competency (VOC) system
Manage implementation of L&D framework and pathways
Develop, maintain and deliver core role key competency Training Needs Analysis
Assistance and value add to employee onboarding process
Apprenticeship Management including enrollment, incentives/funding and monitoring of outcomes
Regular reporting to monitor outcome

**Skills and Experiences**:
**Position Criteria**:

- Minimum of 3-years in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience in development and delivery of training packages in blue collar industries
- Demonstrated ability in achieving productive internal stakeholder relationships and valued outcomes in the training space
- Qualifications in Training and Assessment, Education or Leadership/Management viewed favourably
- Some overnight and possible Interstate travel would be expected in the role
