**The Opportunity -**

In partnership with the ADF and the Commonwealth, Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) provides aircraft maintenance and upgrades, component maintenance solutions, technical support, mission-critical infrastructure support and training on some of the most capable surveillance, command, control, and combat platforms in the world.

We have an exciting opportunity for a **Reliability and Environmental Degradation Management Specialist**to join the Air Combat and Electronic Attack Sustainment Program, supporting the F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler platforms at RAAF Amberley.

The role is based at RAAF Base Amberley.

As a **Reliability and Environmental Degradation Management Specialist** you will:

- Creating analysis to make recommendations to product support teams, system safety, human factors and system support/supportability specialists in order to influence design and maintenance to comply with requirements.
- Review Environmental Degradation condition data and assess trends.
- Investigate the cause of adverse Environmental Degradation trends and engage external resources (USN, DSTG, etc.) for support in exploring corrosion control methodologies
- Identify best practices and technology solutions that could be applied to improve aircraft environmental degradation control outcomes.

To be considered for the role you will:

- Qualifications in engineering or equivalent technical experience in an aircraft maintenance and reliability program.
- A sound understanding of aircraft maintenance programs, preferably fast jet or similar.
- Well-developed communication skills to work collaboratively to a high standard within a multi-discipline team.
