**ABOUT PYBAR**

Established in 1993, PYBAR, A Meta rock Company, has grown to become one of Australia's largest underground hard rock mining contractors operating in multiple states of Australia with a track record in securing repeat business.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Located between Canberra and Batemans Bay, Dargues Gold Mine is a rare opportunity to go home each night and reside in either a major city, the bush, or the beach Dargues underground gold mine provides an excellent team environment, job security.

We are currently looking for an experienced Shift Fitter to join our team, working autonomously as well as part of a team, ensuring a high quality of work, diagnostics, and repairs, you will gain and develop your experience and knowledge of the PYBAR machinery and systems.

This position will see you working a 7 on, 7 off roster in a full-time, permanent position, and as a residential site you must live within (or relocate to) one hour of the mine.

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED**
- Trade qualifications - mechanical (essential)
- Experience in a maintenance team on a mine site (desirable)
- Have proven experience working on underground heavy equipment (essential)
- Experience with CAT, Sandvik and Volvo equipment will be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- A positive can-do attitude with the ability to work as part of a team
- A strong focus on safety
- Hold a current Australian Driver's License
- Hold or be willing to obtain a current National Police Clearance.
