**The Position**

**St John of God Murdoch** Hospital has an excellent reputation, benefits from being located in the fastest growing area of Perth and is conveniently positioned next door to the State's flagship Fiona Stanley Hospital.
- At present, we have an exciting opportunity available for a
- **Patient Safety & Quality Coordinator** to join our team.
- As Patient Safety & Quality Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the integration, maintenance and development of the SJGMH quality and risk program.
- Providing direction and support to the hospital and its caregivers, in the areas of clinical risk management, clinical incident reporting, clinical auditing and quality improvement.
- Assisting with the St John of God Murdoch Hospital accreditation and licensing requirements.
- Facilitating policy and procedure development, review and evaluation.
- This position is being offered on a permanent part-time basis, working 64 hours per fortnight.
- A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated experience in quality improvement and clinical risk management in a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated understanding, knowledge, expertise and achievement of accreditation and private hospital licensing requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated conceptual and analytical skills, including the ability to analyse information and provide reports relating to findings.
- Highly developed organisational skills and the ability to meet agreed targets and timelines.
- Sound computer skills, including the ability to use and maintain databases.
- Relevant post-graduate tertiary qualifications in a health related field (desirable)
