As a Cyber Security Systems Developer, you will help safeguard information systems, infrastructure, and digital assets in a complex ICT environment.
This is a highly collaborative role requiring deep technical expertise, especially in SIEM and EDR tools, to ensure secure-by-design systems that align with government security frameworks.
Location: Canberra, ACT (Fulltime On-site)
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain SIEM, EDR, firewalls, and IDS tools
Implement security controls as part of ICT upgrades and initiatives
Work with SOC teams to onboard data sources and develop detection rules
Troubleshoot SIEM performance and maintain threat detection dashboards
Essential Criteria:
NV2 clearance (or ability to obtain) and 5+ years in cyber security roles
Demonstrated experience with SIEM deployments and security frameworks (ISM, NIST, etc.)
Proficient in regex, systems integration, and automation scripting
Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams
Security Clearance:Due to the nature of this environment, candidates are required to have an NV2clearance to perform this role.
This position is open to Australian citizens with a valid security clearance due to role requirements.
