ICT System Security Professional

As a key member of our team, the Cyber Security Specialist will contribute to prominent defence projects. The specialist will work closely with project teams, DCIAB and other stakeholders to achieve technical Authority To Operate.
Job Responsibilities- Design and Development: Ensure that mission and support ICT systems are designed, developed, operated and maintained in accordance with ISM, DSPF, ACSI publications and Defence security policies.
- Vulnerability Identification: Identify threats and vulnerabilities arising from the design of ICT systems.
- Procedure Development: Develop and maintain system SOPs and any other required security procedural artefacts.
- Cyber Security Integration: Collaborate with vendors, including Defence IT teams, operational units, and senior leadership, to integrate cyber security into decision-making.
- Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in an information technology role with exposure to information security.
- ISM and DSPF Knowledge: Extensive experience with the ISM and Defence Security Policy Framework (DSPF).
- Leading Cyber Initiatives: Experience working on leading cyber security initiatives within ASD, DDG or CASG.
- DevSecOps and Agile: Experience working with DevSecOps and Agile project delivery methodologies.
- Communication and Attention to Detail: Strong communication skills and process orientation with good attention to detail.
- Australian Citizenship and Security Clearance: Australian citizenship and a minimum NV1 security clearance with ability to upgrade to NV2.
