Rubix Solutions is working with a leading provider of facilities maintenance solutions across Australia.They work in multiple sectors including traffic management solutions in for New South Wales.
We are seeking multiple skilled and experienced Electricians to join the team.No prior ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) experience is necessary, all training will be provided, along with 24x7 tech support if required.A company van with all the tools is provided for this role.
Position Summary:
As an Electrician specializing in traffic signals and electronic signage, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems used in traffic control devices and electronic signage for main roads in the Western Sydney area. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.
You will be provided with a van and all the tools required to do the job. You will also be provided with all the training, tickets and technical support to become an ITS Electrician.
There may be some on-call and shift work required.An on-call allowance is paid in addition to your base hourly rate when this is the case.24 hour technical support is provided.This role is a fulltime role with 5 weeks holiday provided per year.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including traffic signal lights, pedestrian crossings, variable message signs, and other electronic signage used in main roads. Troubleshooting: Identify electrical issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner to ensure uninterrupted operation of traffic control devices and electronic signage. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as power outages or equipment failures, to minimize disruptions to traffic flow and public safety.Qualifications and Requirements:

- Multiple Electricians Needed - Car and all the tools provided
- On call allowance and additional awards above the base hourly rate
- Full training and 5 weeks holiday per year plus all extra allowances provided
