Electrical Apprentice Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled electrical apprentice to join our team in Hemmant, Brisbane. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have a genuine passion for electrical work and want to broaden their skills and experience with road lighting, traffic signals, and ITS devices.

The role will focus on maintenance and installation, working night shifts with a 9.5-hour roster from Monday to Thursday each week. While previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, it's not necessary as the roles will suit electricians looking for a change of pace to gain a wide variety of skills.

As an electrical apprentice, you must have excellent safety awareness, working around or near roads and energized electrical installations. Completing this apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Electrician and obtain your Certificate III in Electrotechnology (UEE30820).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installation and maintenance of road lighting, traffic signals, and ITS devices
  • Working night shifts with a 9.5-hour roster
  • Ensuring excellent safety awareness and following all relevant safety protocols
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous domestic and industrial electrical experience ideal
  • Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills
  • Current driver's license P Plate minimum with MR or HR Truck license ideal
  • White Card and ability to pass a pre-employment medical
