**We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
Demonstrated high level expertise in leading and managing digital transformation initiatives within a complex and diverse organisational environment.
Proven strategic, conceptual, and analytical skills in successfully translating business direction and initiatives into ICT strategies, future migration plans and discrete ICT initiatives to achieve organisational objects.
Experience in leading technology governance, data architecture and AI implementation projects across diverse regulatory environments and markets.
Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing data architecture strategies and governance frameworks in complex and geographically disperse organisations.
Experience in cloud provision of services to support AI and data delivery to organisations.
Incorporation of insights from international experience to adapt and implement technology solutions that align with global trends and organisational goals.
Delivery of training and knowledge-sharing programs to promote a culture of innovation, data literacy, and compliance.
Define and track performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of emerging technologies, AI and data governance initiatives.
Advanced knowledge of AI, data architecture, coupled with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance.
Capacity to identity global trends and implement scalable solutions that enhance organisational growth and efficiency.
Highly developed interpersonal, communication, negotiation and consultation skills with the proven ability to build productive relationships and liaise effectively with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders in an environment of change.
High level skills in written and oral communication, including the ability to coordinate a range of correspondence and prepare substantial, concise reports, submissions in line with departmental requirements and the ability to present complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences in diverse contexts.
Thorough knowledge of, and demonstrated experience with the concepts, strategies and issues associated with public sector ICT and related services.

Whilst not mandatory, a tertiary or postgraduate qualification in an ICT/Information Management discipline will be highly regarded.
Experience and detailed knowledge and understanding of Artificial Intelligence
Experience and detailed knowledge and understanding of data architecture.
A knowledge and understanding of the Queensland Government Enterprise Architecture and the concepts and principles of ICT in the context of enabling business solutions will also be highly regarded.
