Based at the Black Star Pastry HQ in Alexandria, we're seeking a Marketing & E-Commerce Coordinator to join the Black Star Pastry team in a full time or part time capacity.As the Marketing & E-Commerce Coordinator, you'll work closely with the Head of Sales and Marketing Operations and collaborate with chefs, store managers, and external partners to bring our brand to life.
You'll be responsible for content creation, social media management, e-commerce operations, and campaign execution—making this a diverse and evolving role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.
This is an evolving role with many different areas of responsibility that requires an adaptable person who wants to join a growing team.
Key ResponsibilitiesCapture and produce engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms Write blogs and EDMs aligned with seasonal launches and brand storytelling Design graphics and signage using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite Manage and update the e-commerce store and website, ensuring accuracy and performance Analyse website data and advocate for UX improvements using Google Analytics Coordinate campaign execution, including scheduling, asset delivery, and performance tracking Create and test ad creatives for Meta and Google campaigns Represent the brand at expos and fairs, and in pitches to potential collaborators Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of campaign assets and updates Monitor and respond to social media engagement across platforms Report weekly on campaign, social, blog, and ad performance metrics The Successful Candidate1–2 years experience in marketing, content creation, and social media Strong short-form video skills (TikTok and Instagram) Excellent writing skills for blogs, captions, and posts Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite Familiarity with scheduling tools (Agorapulse, Meta, Google) Basic knowledge of paid ads (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads) Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines Passion for food, social trends, and digital storytelling What We're Looking For This role suits someone who is highly creative, digitally savvy, and passionate about brand storytelling.
