We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Newly Qualified Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our established nursing team at Broadford Hospital, our brand new facility for Skye and the surrounding area.
We work closely with our sister hospital in Portree, so there will be an opportunity for you to work at both hospital sites.This permanent post supports our vision of a highly skilled, experienced, and flexible workforce that has knowledge and skills in delivering modernized services.
You would be part of a dedicated professional nursing team delivering high standards of care on a mixed medical admissions ward.
The work is dynamic and varied due to our rural community and being a popular holiday destination.One of our service's top priorities is nurturing the next generation of staff.
The ideal candidate would be an enthusiastic newly qualified Band 5 nurse who wants to consolidate their skills and deliver high-quality care.
You will be supported by a Band 7 Senior Charge Nurse, Band 6 senior staff nurses, and work alongside other Band 5s and Healthcare Support Workers, who will provide expert advice on complex patient issues and developing sound clinical practice.We have a variety of full- and part-time posts available, including internal rotation of day and night duties.
