**The Opportunity**

We are seeking an**Engineering Capability Manager** to support the Electrical and Electronics Design Capability within Voice and Data Communications. Boeing Defence Australia's Voice and Data Communications Capability provides a range of design, build, integration and test services to support Defence's Boeing managed and designed complex communication systems. We work hand-in-hand with our customers to develop and deliver critical capabilities to support their mission now and into the future.

This role will have both engineers and technicians reporting to them and you will influence and be a part of a number of exciting Boeing programs including Wedgetail, Land 2072, ATS, current and future bids.

This opportunity is based in **Brisbane**, but travel interstate will be required from time to time.

**Experience/ Qualification**:

- Hold qualifications in Electrical and Electronic engineering (or related discipline) or have equivalent technical experience;
- Be dynamic, innovative and like to think outside the square;
- Be team orientated, influential and like a challenge;
- Be an advocate for diversity and inclusion and be actively involved in change;
- Have excellent communication skills and engagement to motivate diverse and geographically dispersed teams;
- Be outcome focused and demonstrate strong values-based leadership.
