The Events Manager is responsible for delivering every Esports project on time within budget and scope. He/she acts as an intermediary between the different function teams, both within and outside of the organisation, and oversee the overall progression of the various assignments. The Events Manager should also be able to work efficiently in high pressure situations and possess critical problem solving skills.

The project management team at ESL Australia are behind the planning and operations of Australia's largest esports events, including IEM Sydney, Melbourne Esports Open, the PAX Arena esports stage and many more. **We're looking for someone who have..**
- Experience in planning and working in project teams - technical project management certifications (e.g. CAPM, PMP) is a plus but not necessary.
- Strong client facing and internal communication skills.
- Experience working in a live and fast environment.
- Experience in project management for livestream broadcasts.
- Good understanding and love of video games and/or Esports - Experience in the field is a strong plus point.
- Ability to support the various functions leading to the execution of live events - Experience with working and planning live events is a strong plus.
- Ability to work autonomously within deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluency in verbal and written English.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights or weekends.
- Flexibility to travel between cities in Australia when necessary.

**The role**

This role will require working directly alongside our various teams, vendors, and clients to ensure the smooth planning and execution of different Esports projects and events. Part of the work also includes documentation and crafting spreadsheets critical to the various processes.

**You will...**
- Work on various Esports programs and live events in the region that is consistent with the organisation's standards globally.
- Manage details of the organisation's projects, including conceptualising, designing, pre-planning and execution.
- Design, manage and reconcile project budgets with management.
- Establish and monitor main event KPIs with stakeholders involved, and provide analysis with post-event reporting.
- Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with vendors, clients, and also internal associates.
- Manage projects to ensure execution of the highest quality.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
