ABOUT US

Caring Lotus is a Disability Service Provider for delivering services to NDIS participants. Established in February 2021 we have grown quickly to be known by many as a quality provider that really cares about our staff and Clients. We provide a supportive and understanding environment and take a collaborative approach to help our clients achieve their goals.

THE ROLE

We are seeking caring Disability Support Workers that are looking for a long and rewarding career with us. We encourage you to combine your experience and/or education along with your can-do attitude to provide support services to our many wonderful clients.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

What you will need:

- Australian working rights
- Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Employee
- NDIS Screening Check or current police check (can complete if successful)
- Australian Driver's License or International Equivalent with regular access to a reliable and safe car
- Current First Aid & CPR. (can complete if successful)
- NDIS Orientation Module certificate (can complete if successful)
- COVID19 infection control training (can complete if successful)
- Covid Vaccination status

Desirable
- Aged Care Experience
- Certificate/Diploma in Community Services, Individual Support, Disability or Mental health.
- Experience in supporting people with a disability
- Reliable and punctual.
- Have a mature and professional attitude.
- Have the ability to support a diverse population.
- Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

**Salary**: From $30.33 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work

Supplementary Pay:

- Performance bonus

COVID-19 considerations:
We have a current covid safe plan in force
