About the Role
MPK is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to support our Well Servicing division. The primary purpose of the Procurement Officer is to provide purchasing support in a professional and efficient manner to the well servicing and supply chain teams, working with key suppliers to ensure standard of goods and/or services received and pricing is best available to guarantee positive outcomes for all well servicing operations. This role will work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure all supply and equipment requirements are met in a timely manner, in line with MPK's policies and procedures.
Reporting to the Senior Procurement Officer, this position will:
- Manage all aspects of procurement of Well Servicing specific components, parts, consumables, and services
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for quoting/sourcing and driving competitive pricing outcomes
- Create and maintain accurate purchase orders, receipt of goods and/or services and process invoices by due date
- Liaise with vendors to resolve order and invoice discrepancies
- Create & manage inventory items
- Run reports to review outstanding orders, invoices, and stock allocations
- Follow up on delivery lead times and notify relevant teams of changes or delays.
- Liaise with field staff regarding outstanding documentation for compliance
- Onboard new vendors as and if required
- Contribute to the execution of the overall supply chain strategy and continuous improvement initiatives

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
ERP experience, Jobpac (preferred but not essential)
Excellent time management skills and work planning skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Commitment towards constantly improving skills
